Mountain Lake in Autumn
Limpid pool beneath the azure sky,
Where in the falling golden aspen leaves
I drift and watch the random breezes blow,
Be part of me. Together we will hold
A little of October’s blue and gold,
To remember color by
When winter comes, and snow.
